Response to Successful Disarmament of Taliban in Pakistan

India is satisfied with the outcome of the Taliban Nuclear Crisis. World leaders successfully came together to resolve this issue with a minimum amount of blodshed, and the United Nations asserted itself to the Taliban and through a collective effort, showed that it can confront the Taliban, and take necessary action in order to prevail over them. India and Pakistan lay aside their historical rivalries and came together for one common goal: the restoration of peace in South Asia and in the world. We have been assured that radiation levels will be less threatening to human life than originally thought, much to the relief of our worried people, millions of whom live within a very close distance to the Swat Valley. Public hospitals and medical centers have been alerted about the situation and are prepared to accomedate if and when they are affected by radiation. Although the immediate threat of the Taliban has passed, this is not a time for us to become less vigilent and we intend to keep our troops along the border with Pakistan to prevent infilration of any escaping Taliban members that managed to escape from the Swat Valley. India, in cooperation with the United Nations Security Council, will continue to combat terrorists and promote the values of democracy worldwide.
